Wii Trademark and Website Appear

If you were still in denial about the Wii name and thought it was a big farce, you just lost your last thread of hope. Nintendo’s trademark has shown up and it was registered on April 27th, 2006. Interestingly enough, the name has a “priority date” of November 11th, 2005! This would mean that Nintendo had decided on the name way back on Remembrance Day but did not reveal it to the world. Furthermore, Nintendo has also changed the URL from revolution.nintendo.com to wii.nintendo.com. Looks like they’re tying up all the loose ends as we go up to E3. Sorry guys. Wii it is.
