Wii Wannabe
Alex informed us about this emulator he has created for the PC – and no, it’s not a Wii emulator. This creation is aptly named Wii Wannabe, it’s a Wii based GUI that would launch N64, NES, and SNES roms. That’s that. Anyhow, this is the app’s first release and Alex (who also happens to be the maker of this app) thanks bigjohn8411 who created all of the images. So if you’re short on Wii Points to download some Virtual Console goodies, then this might catch your attention.
He also mentions that he didn’t really intend on releasing this to the public and that he personally uses this to launch his roms. He further discussed that he might add some future updates to it – that is if he gets good comments from you guys. For now, the known bug for this version is that it doesn’t resize to your screen, so it must be run in 1280 x 1024 resolution to display properly. He is also planning on adding sound and more Wii-like features. Check out the readme to know how to use this.
