Wiimote, now available for the NES?
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
We already know that the Wii’s backwards-compatible, capable of playing all those Nintendo classics we oh-so love as gamers, and while there’s already a NES adaptor for the Wiimote for such games, it seems some people still prefer the smoother lines of the Wiimote, and went through some bizarre lengths to go retro with their “Wii experience.”
We picked up this video of some dude who spliced what looks like a Wiimote, and is now using it to play Super Mario Brothers, albeit the light sensors of the Nunchuck controls. And from the looks of it, he wasn’t playing too well either. We know there’s a lot of guys out there who’d love to play a good round Mario on the Wii, but we didn’t think the anxiety’s gotten this bad.
