Wiimote: Safety warning now tri-lingual

WiimoteThe saga of the Wiimote strap is now starting to get a fix-it from Nintendo as replacements start landing stateside. And for the guys who have just received the new set, they’ll notice something else.

Remember that email Nintendo’s sent out to Wii owners?

Yup, it looks like Nintendo’s taken the extra precaution of not only adding it to your spare strap, it now comes in three different languages. The multi-language release is identical to the ones given out before, so it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.

While we like the effort they’re putting in by printing roughly 3.2 million copies of the safety instruction, doesn’t it sound a tad…overkill?

Oh well, given the lawsuit that they might be getting into regarding the straps, it doesn’t hurt to go the extra mile in warning the fans.
