Wiimotes Are Tiny
Several interesting pictures have appeared on Revogamers, a popular Spanish gaming site. The pictures depict the Wiimote out of the controller’s usual shiny glamour shot background, giving it a real-world point of view.
In one shot, the Wiimote is compared to a GameBoy Micro (pictured left). We all knew the controller would be tiny, but not that tiny! It appears that the Wiimote’s length is equivalent to 1.5 Micros, and its width is smaller than 1 Micros.
Holy jeez! As the original Xbox controller (the Duke) was designed for a deranged giant, the Wiimote is designed for a psychotic elf!
As a look to the brighter side, the small size assures the easy reach of the otherwise out of place 1 and 2 buttons on the controller. Maybe small won’t be such a bad thing after all…
The Wiimote exploitation does not stop there. In another picture featured on Revogamers, the Wiimote is pictured without its battery pack on, revealing the insides of the device (pictured right). As more and more images of the device come out, the controller is becoming less and less of a mystery.
