Wii’s X-Buster: Capcom’s Inafune is dead rising on the Wii
Guess who’s taking their X-Buster and pointing it towards a possible title for the Wii? As reported on Japanese magazine “Dorimaga,” the man behind Mega Man, Keiji Inafune is setting his eyes on Nintendo’s next-gen console.
Not much info is yet available about how he’s planning to use the Wii remote scheme or, much less, what specific title he’s going to work on. Maybe another Mega Man installment? But if you look at his portfolio of characters created, it could be any game at all. Aside from creating the said Blue Bomber, he’s also worked on Resident Evil, Onimusha, Dead Rising, and most recently, Lost Planet.
Of these titles, we do know that RE: Umbrella Chronicles is slated for the Wii. Could this be the game he’s working on or could it be something else? For all we know, they could pull out a completely new title for the Wii. Something no one’s ever seen yet.
You don’t need to remind us; we’ll definitely bring you guys more news regarding Inafune’s Wii efforts as soon as they come by. We’re just about as excited for this as much as you guys are.
