Here's an important question for you guys to ask yourselves: Will you be paying for Shivering Isles in the near future?
Bethesda's informed everyone that Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion will be available for purchase on Xbox Live come the 27th... for a whopping 2400 Microsoft Points. In dollars, that'll set you back around 30 bucks. Granted, for at least 30 hours of Bethesda goodness, it's not a bad deal. The problem lies in the precedent it's setting for Xbox Live transactions.
Previous record holders for high MS Point numbers include Lumines Live (at 1200 MS Points), which wasn't the great thing we all expected. Hopefully, Bethesda will make the purchase worthwhile, comparatively speaking , but we're certainly praying to the Daedric Lords it won't be the start of even more expensive Xbox Live purchases.
