Before you start raiding various realms such as Halldor or Aldhaven, it would be wise to start your group first. In Winter's Twilight universe, this is referred to as parties. Starting a party can be done by any character simply by inviting other people to join. Don't just invite anyone, of course. Choose those who are worthy; gather your forces well. After all, it is human nature to find strength in numbers.
Once you've completed your party, we're pretty sure you'll feel strong and invincible. Well, not really invincible but having a party certainly has its advantages. Here are some of them:
- Chat Channels - Establishing a party group creates a special chat channel that only the members of the party can see.
- Shared Experience - Any experience gained through killing mobs, is shared with everyone in the group. The only caveat is that you have to have contributed to the kill - you can't just sit and watch!
- Auto Looting - You can set a member of the party to be the loot gatherer. That means that all loot will automatically go to that player. Make sure it's someone you trust though!
- Leadership Experience - When in a party, you can set the level of 'deference' you think your leader deserves from 0 to 10%. The amount of deference people are willing to give you affects the leadership experience you receive for running the group.
- Group Totems - The exact effect a Totem will create for the player or group is a matter of experimentation and discovery. Changing the content and order of the Totem stack will determine what effect is given off.
