WIP Update: Liquid War DS

Liquid War is a multiplayer action game set in a single screen 2D battlefield with some obstacles. The object of the game is to get an army of liquid particle across these obstacles using the shortest path. When a liquid particle pushes against an enemy particle, it will fight the enemy. If it loses, it gets assimilated by the enemy particle. Originally a DOS game, it broke through the cover of anonymity with Liquid War v5.0 back in 1998.

If this is something you wish you could play on your DS, well, your wish may soon come true – thanks to four computer science students. The fantastic four are current polishing their Liquid War game port for DS. They’re not quite there yet but we’re pretty sure they’ll be posting Liquid War DS soon. Meanwhile, watch the video of their work-in-progress and you’ll see just how great it’s going to be!
