WipEout HD galore: more news on prices, release dates, and video that shows game alteration to pass health tests
Wipeout HD sure is having a busy week, huh? First, we had the rumors on its release date and Euro tag price. Today, we have news that release date will be announced late next week. Pricing details also emerged, and the icing on this news-riddled cake is the video that shows how WipEoutHD was tweaked to pass health tests.
Don’t mark September 25 red on your Wipeout HDcalendars just yet. It seems like the rumor will soon become news – or will finally be sealed in the rumor bin for good – as Three Speech confidently says that a possible confirmation date may be revealed late next week.
Fact, though, is the pricing. It’s gonna cost £ 11.99 (US$ 21). And what’s more, we have a video (as posted by Daily Motion) showing how WipEout HD was altered to pass health tests. If you remember, it was suspected that the game’s daily can be attributable to its tendencies to cause epileptic seizures.
With this video saying that they did tweak some stuff to make it more “healthy”, then it’s just as good as confirming what’s been circulating in the community (but was never really fully acknowledged by the developer and publishers) that it does cause some kind of epileptic reaction.
