World of Warcraft Arena Tournament qualifiers: are you kidding?

World of Warcraft Arena Tournament - the qualifiers have a huge performance gap in-between! - Image 1

We took a little review of the Arena team qualifiers for the second round of the World of Warcraft Arena Tournament, and it didn’t take two seconds for us to blurt out, “WTF?!?” We’re bringing this “WTF” moment to you today, but it’s courtesy of big blue Blizzard, so give them a round of applause.

Yeah, like, what LOLcat said. - Image 1Because we mean, seriously, have you taken a glance at the lower half of the list? We’re talking about 9th position onwards: there’s nothing but a seriously big gaping hole from Power Trip’s ratings down to One Team One Dream ratings.  Best of the best in each group?

If memory serves us right, it was the fictional Federation in Starship Troopers that delivered “fresh meat for the grinder,” not Blizzard. So yeah, Blizzard, are you kidding?

Someone has just got to be insane to shove the lower half qualifiers into the likes of pro Power Trip. And to think that Big Blue was always against World PvP and ganking… now they’re sending hopefuls to get seriously ganked in front of everyone.

It’s not that we’re shooting down the hopefuls’ optimism, but talk about game balance. If we said that we’d stick around to watch the electrifying action, we take it all back and just pass.

We’re rooting for the underdogs definitely, but if we had to place a bet, our pocket money says Power Trip takes on all. Good luck to the lower half qualifiers. (They’ll definitely need it.)
