World of Warcraft Client Beta Patch 2.0.2 notes

WoW patchBlizzard has just recently released the WoW Client Beta Patch 2.0.2 which is expected to carry out a lot of fixes throughout Azeroth as maps will be opened or closed, some terrains will be changed, and several character classes will experience some changes.

Among the general changes are the following:

  • Shadowmoon Valley is now open and available for play.
  • Tempest Keep: Arcatraz dungeon will now be open.
  • The Heroic Difficulty dungeon requirements have been temporarily (for the Beta only) lowered to Neutral to encourage Heroic Mode testing.

In the meantime, Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, Rogues, Shamans, and Warlocks will all experience several fixes which should cause several misbehaving skills and abilities to finally work properly. Regarding PvPs though, there will also be some changes with regards to the NPCs, the arenas, and the battlegrounds. There have also been several bug fixes, namely:

  • Corrected some interaction issues with many NPCs.
  • Attacking neutral creatures in the Steamvault, Coilfang Resevoir, will no longer cause nearby naga to aggro.
  • The “Extra Sharp Daggermaw Tooth” will now drop for players attempting to do the quest, “Cutting Your Teeth” in Blade’s Edge Mountains.
  • Channeling bars will now show for the correct amount of time.
