World of Warcraft Druids review Mark of the Wild

World of Warcraft Druids review Mark of the Wild - Image 1World of Warcraft‘s Mark of the Wild is pretty much like Warcraft III: The Reign of Chaos‘ own Mark of the Wild skill of Druids, although pretty much mapped out to fill out aspects of a typical role-playing game. Druids all know that this is probably the only valuable buff they have at the early levels.

But as Druids peak off at Level 70, they have felt that eerie, sinking feeling that the talent doesn’t scale well with their level or with the difficulty of the game.

Though Blizzard is probably content to at least provide something they can use to buff in absence of any other buff (something is better than nothing, we suppose), we still believe some value can be provided to the talent’s utility.

Of course, it would require a new analysis of the talent, covering the issues from multiple sides as there many other aspects linked to a skill that buffs armor, stats and resistances. Whether or not Blizzard is willing to delegate a few resources and manpower to seek a plausible solution is too early to tell, but it’s likely that they won’t try to make it worthy enough to invest fully into the talent.

In fact, it may be wise to accept that Blizzard won’t be making a change to Mark of the Wild soon, since it is one of the more versatile buffs than those of Paladins. It covers a lot of ground and doesn’t specialize easily on any of its chosen improvement fields. It’s probably not a question of value. It’s a question of how much is actually utilized from its overall value.
