World of Warcraft hot fix listing for May 21 to 27
It can get pretty hard to keep up with all the hot-fixes being implemented in World of Warcraft. From the Spell Shield ability to the adding of the Gem vendors, it can get confusing really quickly. Blizzard poster/Forum Moderator Drysc was nice enough to post on the forums all the hot-fixes implemented from May 21 to 27.
Changes on May 22:
- Al’ar’s meteor ability now does less damage and will no longer split damage between the targets it hits.
- Krosh Firehand can now use the Spell Shield ability again.
Changes on May 23:
- The gem vendors in Thrallmar and Honor hold are now once again available.
- Gruul’s hateful strike will now target the 2nd highest on the threat list instead of the 3rd highest.
- The Lurker Below will no longer emerge from the water before all adds are dead.
- Coilfang Ambushers can no longer be charmed.
- Seer Olum will no longer despawn as quickly after being rescued from Serpentshrine Cavern.
- Linking a Poison Recipe or Hunter Pet Ability in a chat message will no longer cause a disconnect.
Changes on May 25 (from Banderas and Rankin):
- Warlock and Hunter’s pet buffs (e.g. Blood Pact, Spirit Bond) will now stay active when the pet is automatically dismissed through mounting.
- Warlock and Hunter’s pets will continue to auto-dismiss for flying mounts and flight paths. However, for ground mounts, pets will only auto-dismiss if the pathing is such that the pet can’t keep up.
- Warlock and Hunter’s pets will now work correctly with the Netherwing Ledge disguises, and also will no longer die when gaining the disguises, or randomly when mounting while disguised.
Some players have noticed that the Lurker Below hot fix (3rd entry May 23) may have been a mistype by Drysc since the Lurker still keeps hopping out even before the adds die. While some people posted some useful notes on the implemented hot fixes, a lot of other players posted other things that need hot fixing. Well, Blizzard will hopefully get to those changes. Be sure to check back here for more news on World of Warcraft.
