World of Warcraft launcher updates: It’s now invisible

World of Warcraft launcher updates: It's now invisible?!? - Image 1Blizzard poster Ommra has given out information on the few changes that has been implemented with regards to the World of Warcraft launcher bar. The bar is now set to be invisible but gamers have the option to view it by clicking on the “show launcher” box on the opening login screen for the game. There will also be a few times when the launcher will be popping up regardless of whether or not it was set on invisible, like when the launcher is updated or the launcher updates the game.

Now, while some expected that majority of the WoW players will opt to keep it invisible, it seems a lot of players have already grown fond of the launcher bar. Some have even gone as far as to say that it feels like “
a proper welcome to the game.” Regardless, it’s great that Blizzard has given players the option to do this since those who find the launcher a bit intrusive now has a way to deal with it without having to create a separate shortcut to the WoW executable.

As a parting note, the launcher still runs in the background so it will still check for keyloggers and do the other tasks it was built to do. It’s just doing it more quietly now. Be sure to check back here for more updates on World of Warcraft.
