World of Warcraft mail system update

Blizzard poster Eyonix has posted a heads up regarding a mail system update for World of Warcraft on the official WoW forums. Here’s what the change brings:

Just like in-game mail transactions containing items, mail sent with gold, silver, and copper coins attached will in most cases now take one hour to reach the recipient.

This change will help us to better ensure the legitimacy of such transactions and further prevent the unlawful influx of currency into each realmÂ’s economy.

This delay will only affect regular mail with coins attached and CoD payments received via the mail system. The delay will not affect mail sent from one character to another when under the same account. Take note that this is accompanied by other changes as Blizzard has just released WoW Patch 2.1.3.
