World of Warcraft: What quest would you create?
What if Blizzard let you design one quest? That was the title of Sheeplie’s thread over at the World of Warcraft Forums.
So what if the blue guys invited you to Blizzard central and let you design one quest? Will you give a traditional quest, like killing a couple of hundred monsters and bringing back their skin, skulls, or internal organs? Or maybe you can design a rescue mission where you escort someone important, though not a lot of players will love that sort of thing (read: Thrall). How about an uber long quest chain where you have to play a full week to complete? Anyway, we can think up a dozen zany quests but Drysc‘s suggestion takes the cake:
Staying with a long tradition of guano-related quests, I would design an epic quest that would require players to dig through more poo. A lot more. They would have to travel to every zone, and dig through the droppings of various animals and species for items or clues long-since digested. The end reward would be a unique title “Gastroenterologist”, and a trinket “Gnomish Bleach” which would remove all poison and disease effects once every 15 minutes.
Interesting, though it might be embarrassing to get that unique title. What about you? What type of quest will you design for the World of Warcraft?
