WoW baby steps – Shadowfiend fix confirmed on PTR

World of Warcraft priest spell - shadowfiend - Image 1 Earlier today, we reported on the priest issues on the less than bright Shadowfiends attacking the wrong targets. Blizzard blue Nethaera informed players that the fix for that is already on the Public Test Realm (PTR).

Shadowfiend is a priest spell that summons a shadowfiend (a guardian, not a pet or minion) to attack a target with each attack damage converting to mana for the priest. The problem was, the shadowy fiends had a tendency to attack the shackled enemies instead of the current target. Nightshroud from the World of Warcraft Forums confirmed that the fix is indeed up and her Shadowfiend now has more IQ points – err… attacks the proper target.

Now that that’s fixed (or goes live with patch 2.1.0), priests are now waiting for the other issues that their class has. We’ll keep you posted on more updates from the World of Warcraft as soon as they become available.
