WoW Burning Crusade new priest racial abilities
With the WoW expansion, Burning Crusade, coming up, more and more information is being leaked out for the expectant masses to lap up; and the latest bits of revelations include new racial abilities for priests. As we all know, priests are a strange lot and their race affects their abilities, so with the introduction of two new races into Azeroth, one can’t help but wonder what new tricks the Draenei and the Blood Elf priests would be able to pull out of their robes.
Teza from the World of Raids forums shares the following tidbits:
Blood Elf:
Consume Magic
Instant
2 min cooldown
Dispels one beneficial Magic effect from the caster and gives them 62 to 78 mana.
Draenei:
Symbol of Hope
15 Mana
40 yd range
Instant cast
2 min cooldown
Greatly increases the morale of party members, giving them 99 mana over 15 sec.
The use of the Draenei’s abilities is definitely going to be more than welcome in any instance, while the use of the Blood Elf’s ability may be a little less obvious. For one thing, some have pointed out that Consume Magic can be used for removing a buff that you won’t need as much, for those cases when you need to zap something fast and you’re out of mana, and you don’t want to go through your stash of blues either.
