WoW exploration: Azeroth and Outlands’ mystery locations
For the level 60+ players in the World of Warcraft who would like to take a break from the daily grind of arguing game nerfing and patch releases, Argaras over at the WoW official forums has opened up a thread titled “Hidden/Mysterious areas.”
As implied by the name, the thread is a discussion of the more obscure or difficult-to-find locations that some of the more veteran players here may have encountered in their adventures. Here are some of the interesting places Argaras is aware of:
- Hidden house WAAAAAY up the coast of Westfall.
- Huge strange cave on the back end of Silithus.
- Weird dwarf house on the side of Hinterlands.
- Elven tower in the north of EPL (Not sure about this one).
Outland (I don’t know many because I haven’t explored much)
- The strange baby farm on the top of Nagrand (Wtf?).
- Empty village above Shattrath.
- Arrakoa capitol city (Can’t remember the name of it >_<) with the 70 Elite under the water.
Given how large WoW‘s realms are, there’s probably much more to find as the game gets updated. We’re sure the upper-level gamers (60 to 70) may want to see what other surprises are in store in their travels, all the more with the accessibility granted by flying mounts in the Outlands region. Of course, journeys like this won’t win you any loot like quests do, but it’s certainly fun to discover new sites in a game you think you’re already familiar with.
