WoW forum discussion: Blackrock Depths
While Wrath of the Lich King is definitely something World of Warcraft players are looking forward to, it appears the game community’s also taking a look at adventures past. There’s an ongoing discussion over at the WoW forums which talks about one of Azeroth‘s more memorable areas, the Blackrock Depths (aka BRD).
As the discussion goes, players are wondering about the future of this instance, given that after surpassing level 60, most players simply shrug off their memories of the place to seek new adventures in the Outlands map. And as Tabot (the thread starter) remarked, why wasn’t Blizzard trying to bank on the existing base these old instance areas already had:
But I was thinking, why Blizzard didnÂ’t made a new instance within the place for higher levels or at least attuned LBRS for higher levels (like theyÂ’re going to do with Naxxramas once the new expansion comes out). It is very disappointing that once u reach level 60 you completely forget about the place and run to the outlands to do all those boring, quick 3 boss instances.
As we said earlier, plenty of players agreed with Tabot’s stand. BRD apparently holds plenty of memorable moments (and loot) for the dudes.
