WoW Inventory Mods: HoB_DKP, Give Me Health, and Sell-O-Matic

It’s a new day, so here’s three more World of Warcraft mods. Our three-mod batch today is composed of three Inventory/Item Enhancement mods, namely HoB_DKP v2.8.4, Sell-O-Matic, and Give Me Health 2.0.6f. Let’s take a look at HoB_DKP v2.8.4 first.

According to ScreamerBG, his HoB_DKP mod is a fully independent WoW addon for calculating an item’s DKP value based on its stats. It can accurately calculate the DKP value of a mixed-class/class-specific item and, as an extra effect, the addon suggests which class should use the item.

To install HoB_DKP, simply install the addon to your WoW addons folder. No additional libraries/mods are required. After installing, click on an item link or hover your mouse over an item. The field “DKP Value” will appear at the bottom of items tooltip, showing the value and the item class suggestion.

Holding the Shift key while clicking over item links will produce the DKP sum of those items. Holding the CTRL key suppresses the DKP output. You can change the “Multiplier” and “Period” values in-game by using the commands “/hdkp multi [value]” and “/hdkp period [value]”, so the mod will multiply the output DKP value by Multiplier and round it to Period.

Here are the available command line options for HoB_DKP:
/hdkp [help] – showing help and mod version
/hdkp debug – switches on/off debug mode
/hdkp item_id [enchant_id] – will produce item tooltip for item_id with enchant_id (if supplied). Example ‘/hdkp 18534 2568’
/hdkp multi [value] – changes the multiplier of the reported DKP value
/hdkp period [value] – changes the period of the reported DKP value

Give Me Health v2.0.6f - Image 1The Give Me Health mod gives players auto-adjusting macros to use the best food, drink, Health potion, Mana potion or Bandage based on your level or location (whether you’re in the Battlegrounds or not). This version is now compatible with German versions of WoW, and it also comes with a new Self-Bandage feature.

There are five macros: GMBandage, GMFood, GMHealth, GMMana, and GMWater. According to the mod’s author, Mileg, the Icon for each may be a “?” in the /macro window if you have items of that type in your inventory, or default picture if you don’t. Each one will use the best item in your inventory based on your level, and if you are in a battleground or not.

The Picture should show the best type to be used, and how many items of that type are in your inventory. If the count goes to zero, there may be items left in your inventory that can be used. If the Icon reverts to a “Default” picture, You are out of that item type.

And finally we have Silmano’s Sell-O-Matic mod. The purpose of this mod is to help players sell the kind of items that they get most frequently: For example, you’re fishing and loaded with raw fish or gray items. It works with a sell list, and all names of items or part of the names inside that list will be searched and sold to a merchant when players use the mod. Users can also add and remove names from the sell list.

Sell-O-Matic - Image 1To use the Sell-O-Matic mod, just make a beeline towards a merchant and open their trade window. You can then click on the button or type ‘/som sell’ to sell the items listed. To add names to the sell list, you have to type ‘/som add #itemName’, where #itemName is the name, part of the name or link (shift+click) of the item you want to sell. For example, if you want to sell all uncooked fish, you can do ‘/som add Raw’ and the addon will sell all items that begin with ‘Raw’, such as ‘Raw Redgill’.

Here are the available addon commands:
/som add #itemName: Adds #itemName to the sell list.
/som auto: Toggles between auto selling on/off.
/som delete #itemNumber: Deletes #itemNumber from the sell list.
/som reset: Reset the list to defaults (only gray items)
/som sell: Sells the items on sell list.
/som show: Show the items in the sell list (with their items number)
