WoW Misdirect issues to be addressed in next patch

Over at the official World of Warcraft community site for Europe, a handful of players are claiming that Misdirect is not functioning as intended in Karahzan. Reports vary from “not working at all” to “only the first two shots are working.”

As you all know, Misdirect is very important especially when you are raiding a boss.

Blizzard‘s Ommra commented on the matter. According to the forum moderator, Misdirect is only transferring threat from the first two sources of damage done by the hunter. Ommra added that the problem has been noted and will be fixed in the upcoming patch. While the problem has been isolated in Karahzan, some of the WoW players reported that the same is true in other areas such as Thorngrin the Tender in The Botanice.

We really do hope that this gets fixed soon. As of now, various guilds are currently downing bosses in all places inside The Black Temple. It seems that some of these guilds won’t be needing this at all…
