The Celestial Steed mount was priced at US$ 25 (€ 20), while the Lil’ XT pet was priced at US$ 10 (€ 10). Pretty cheap, yes. But if you have tens of thousands of rabid fans lining up to procure these items, then what you get instead is one big heap of cash pile.

 

 

 

Doing simple math, if you multiply those prices by some 140,000 people wanting to get their hands on it, the result of the equation is one big fat paycheck for Blizzard — somewhere around US$ 1.4 to US$ 3.5 million in revenue, to be precise. And that’s just in a matter of hours, mind you.
