Wrath of the Lich King street date broken
The gates to Northrend open two days early – retail-wise, at least. Yeah, thank 7-11 for Arthas’ early arrival. Turns out that they broke WoW: Wrath of the Lich King‘s street date just yesterday (which conveniently plops right after they reportedly broke street date for Gears of War 2).

As I always say, transgressions on following street dates may frowned upon in the retailing world, however, it’s also a sign that your game is being anticipated by the masses. What with getting an 80 level cap, the Death Knight class, and access to Northrend, among others, of course everyone wants to join in on the fun.
Activision Blizzard‘s Wrath of the Lich King is scheduled for retail release tomorrow, November 13.
