WSVG 2007 prizes revealed
A nice fellow with the handle “Fujiwara @ Shattered Hand” sent us this tip in last night noting that the prize money and prize brackets for the World Series of Videogames (WSVG) 2007 has been made available at the WSVG official website.
The total prize money to be given away in China amounts to US$ 50,000 while it is US$ 90,000 in most North American regions. The ones in Europe is set to give away a total us US$ 110,000 and the finals at Dreamhack Sweden is set to give away US$ 175,000 worth in prize money.
Games incorporated into the competition include EA Sports Fight Night Round 3, Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake 4, Guitar Hero 2, Call of Duty 2, and World of Warcraft.
The WSVG is set to start next month in Wuhan, China, and will conclude in December at the world’s biggest LAN party in Sweden.
