WSVG announces Arena gear inventory for WoW competitors

Okay, now it really boils down to the innards. Every class, no matter what your spec or what you were built for, now has a standard and default inventory to use at the 2007 World Series of Video Games‘ World of Warcraft PvP main event. Watch and learn people, because this is how WSVG puts the “pro” in professional gaming.

We will not list down the gear here, because it has been explicitly stated that the gear list is subject to change in-between events. So instead we will mention that your inventory will be expanded with four (count ’em) Foror’s Crate of Endless Gear Resist Storage for a whopping (and standard) 136 of inventory space. That’s enough to carry all those gear and consumables, plus state of the art tools and ammo for Hunters and Rogues.

So this pretty much answers the question of having to transfer all your inventory and characters over thumb drives, and it keeps people from using uber gear from spanking the slightly under-geared chap. Either that or it just saves from someone bringing the right combination for a short invulnerability period. Time for a new strategy, gentlemen.

Here’s some clues as to what lies ahead for Team Pandemic’s Power Trip 5v5 Arena team and the other teams sent to compete: they only have a total of 10 consumables per player for each bout (only renewed between bouts) to spare, so if they used to compete with a sack full of heals, they’re going to have to change tactics here.
