WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW Will Support PSP-PS2 Link-Up

If you buy both the PlayStation 2 and PSP versions of WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW 2006 you will be able to swap season data to and from each version of the game. This means you will be able to play through a career at home and take it with you on the move with your PSP.

The link-up bonuses don’t stop there. Owners of both versions of the game will be able to exchange belts, characters and unlockables between the games. Because each version comes with an exclusive character you will be able to move this character over to the other version of the game, giving each version the complete set. The ability to exchange belts means that belts won via WiFi play on your PSP can be transferred onto your PlayStation 2 and then challenged for in the online arena.

We hope to see more of this cross platform link-up next year, but perhaps with the games in question offering vastly different gaming experiences. The PSP version of WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW 2006 will be out in December with the PlayStation 2 version arriving on November 11th.
