X06, the Xbox brand experience for the games and entertainment industry, goes to Barcelona in Spain this September 27 and 28. The X06 event will gather top media, partners, publishers and developers from all over Europe in one place to experience everything Xbox 360 has to offer plus all the exciting things yet to hit the continent.
The X06 has been ground zero for high-profile announcements: the European pricing details for Xbox (2001); Xbox Live and the acquisition of Rare (2002); the unveiling of the new Xbox branding (2003); and the fantastic launch games line-up for Xbox 360 (2005).
This yearÂ’s event, according to MS, will be no exception to this tradition of shock and awe. Visitors to Barcelona “should expect to be blown away with exclusive news announcements and amazing next generation gaming experiences.” From Xbox 360 plans to the line-up of next-gen games from MS and third party developers. From the next wave of accessories to the unveiling of the world-class Xbox Live entertainment. For two days, the city of Barcelona will become the Xbox Capital of the World.
Joining this year’s X06 for the first time are South Africa, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland – the newest batch of countries set to launch the Xbox 360 this year.
