X360’s Future is on Japanese Water
The young superstitious few of Japan believe that Microsoft‘s plans for the Xbox 360 is staring at them now and is situated in the very heart of their own alphabet. Good things are coming, according to them.
The Tokyo Game Show officially opens on September 22, and that is a Friday. Customarily, Microsoft holds a pre-TGS meeting for the media. This is not to go ahead of and spoil the big event, but much more of an indication of things to come. For Microsoft this year, they’re holding the briefing the Wednesday prior, September 20.
In Japan, Wednesday is represented by the character of water. And for them, this only suggests a more fluid, un-stagnant approach for the Japanese market.
On the more official side of things though, Microsoft is expected to reveal X360 titles for the rest of the year, and spilling over to the next. Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon details are also much, much anticipated. Anyway, we won’t have to wait for long to know if the claims are true as the TGS is very much around the corner.
