XBL: BlackSite demo, Undertow, Rock Band track packs

Xbox Live has just updated with a free downloadable demo of Midway Games‘ BlackSite: Area 51. Guys who frequent the Arcade scene will also want to check out the launch of Chair Entertainment‘s Undertow, while Rock Band owners will want to see their new track packs. Xbox 360 owners out there may want to log their consoles on, as we announce a triple-threat of downloadable goodies heading your way. The first treat you’ll want to look out for is a free demo of BlackSite: Area 51 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3). At a cost of about about 988.11 MB, this should give you guys an on-hand teaser of the alien-blasting that Aeran Pierce and his team will be enjoying (with extreme prejudice).

For the more XBLA-savvy folk, we also report the arrival of Undertow from Chair Entertainment. Set in a post apocalyptic world submerged in water (paging Kevin Costner…), players here can choose either the Atlantians, Nemodians, or Iron Marines as they battle with their online buddies for supremacy. Undertow for the XBLA will cost 800 MS points.

And last (but not least) on our list is something for the guys in North America who’ve recently purchased Rock Band (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360) from Harmonix. The game’s updated with several new additional track packs, which should help buff up the considerable song list already loaded with the disc.
