XBMC Remote Interface v0.7.6 Mod

Trex6662k5 is back with more improvements to his mod on Jonny2002’s XBMC Remote Music Interface. Renamed XBMC Remote Interface, this homebrew allows bi-console owners to set up an interface between their PSP and a modified Xbox running Xbox Media Center. By the way, Trex said you should update to XBMC v. 2.0.1 or to a CVS build for Bleeding Edge users.

The latest update is XBMC Remote Interface v0.7.6 and here’s a history of changelog from the last version posted here to this current version:

Changes since v0.7.5 Mod

• Fixed a timesync related bug that appears during media with no durations – Thanks Kick In Da D0oR

Changes since v0.7.3 Mod

• Fixed a bug which caused the PSP to autosync every 100ms while currently displaying a picture (my bad)
• Changed button to exit out of remote control to the home button.
• Optimised images and made them blit correctly (alpha when it needs alpha)
• Even though the screen pops up asking to exit the app, it shouldn’t effect playback
• Was a bit late to release this because I haven’t much time lately to continue on the next release of XBMC RI
• So just in case I vanish off the interweb, Id thought id at least fixed a few issues.

For installation and other technical stuff don’t forget to read the readme file (its the one titled RTFM.txt). And as a special bonus, you can watch the XBMC Remote Interface v0.7.6 Mod in action!
