XBMC runs on PS3 via OtherOS

Although the project is still on its early stage of development and a bit slow at the moment, the dev assures everyone that he is working hard to improve the program. madshaun1984 also added:

I’ll post a tut on how to install the cellsdk3.0 on ubuntu 10.04 and the required changes needed to compile and use the cell-driver on the ps3. I’ll also post up a tut, on how to install xbmc on your ps3’s (OtherOS is required for both, so if you updated, your out of luck for now >.<) asap, but be warned, it takes 3+ hours just to compile xbmc ready for use, so its not a quick process to install it.

As a request also, as I mentioned before, the mesa3d cell-driver Here is the way forward to improve the speeds of xbmc and other programs on the ps3 (until an exploit to give us full rsx usage is found), so if you can, please contribute to the project.
