“Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry Hyrb is reporting that the just-released Xbox Live Arcade title Marble Blast Ultra has earned a spot in the top 10-most played games on all of Xbox Live last week. “ Hexic HD has appeared on the top 10 list twice before so this maybe a new trend that’s destined to continue.
It is unclear if the statistics were specific to those playing a full registered version of the game or the “trial”. However if this is the case then this could be indicating that people seem to prefer casual classic style gaming in conjunction with their cutting edge graphics that the newer games provide on their Xbox 360 or other consoles for that matter. The following statistics “includes time spent connected to Xbox Live playing various games, whether the playtime is spent in single- or multi-player mode.”
