Xbox 360 Citizenship campaign bus tour educates Twin Cities

The Xbox 360 Citizenship bus to be headed to the Twin Cities - Image 1The Xbox 360 Citizenship bus will be traveling to the Twin Cities to educate families on providing a safe and secure environment for video gaming and online access. Essentially a 20-city nationwide tour, this project being sponsored by Microsoft, Best Buy, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America is promoting the motto “Safety is no game. Is your family set?”

Paula Prahl, vice president of public affairs for Best Buy, spoke on behalf of Best Buy.

Best Buy is committed to giving parents, families and those who care for children the tools and information they need so that they can trust that their children are safe and secure enjoying their interactive video gaming and entertainment.


The Xbox 360 Citizenship bus will be making six stops:

  • Minnesota State Capitol – Upper Mall: 1 – 3:30 P.M.     
  • Boys & Girls Club, West Saint Paul: 4 – 7 P.M.         

Friday, April 13, 2007

  • Science Museum of Minnesota: 9:30 A.M. – 12 P.M.
  • Cottage Grove Junior High School: 2:30 – 4 P.M.      

Saturday, April 14, 2007

  • Best Buy, 11600 Leona Dr: 10 A.M. – 1 P.M.   
  • Minnesota Twins Game, Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome:3 – 6:30 P.M.      

The tour will educate and train parents and caregivers on video games. This includes taking advantage of MicrosoftÂ’s Xbox 360 Family Settings, the Xbox Live service, Xbox Live Vision camera, and how to understand ESRB ratings. Those who visit the bus will receive a copy of a video game ratings guide which can also be picked up in stores nationwide.
