Xbox 360 download license transfer now available

It used to be impossible to transfer Xbox Live content from one Xbox 360 to another with Microsoft‘s DRM policies. That’s now a thing of the past as the company introduces the License Transfer Tool which loosens up the restrictions and lets you share the hot contents from one hard drive to another. How to do it? If you have multiple Xbox 360s or one broke down and you’re planning to buy an entirely new one, transferring the content you downloaded on the older unit’s hard drive to the new one was impossible with Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection. That’s a thing of the past now as Microsoft introduces the License Transfer Tool.

Using the License Transfer Tool is pretty easy. The first thing to do is to transfer the authorized license to the official Xbox site. Second, you download it to the new Xbox 360 and you’ll be all set to go.
