Xbox 360 finally running on Linux?
As much as this is very serious, we were actually laughing while we were writing this. In a somewhat foreign accent, the commentator mentioned, “It’s titled Console Hacking Surprise. And the description says ‘Be Surprised!'” That really didn’t look funny, but you have to listen to the guy to know what we mean.
Anyway, enough goofing. This is an alleged video clip of an Xbox 360 running on Linux, posted by kunkie123 over at YouTube. Most of the footage were spent on preparation and so we only got a very minor glimpse of the said hack. We personally believe that a footage like this isn’t enough. We need more proof.
And maybe now you’re wondering why posted this, anyway. Because the video clip claims to have come from CCC or the Germany“>Chaos Computer Club. The group is based in Germany and is one of the most influential hacking organisations today. They uphold the hacker’s ethic and fight for free access to computers and technological infrastructure. So what do you think?
