Not soon after Netflix and Best Buy announced their decision to join the Blu-ray camp, Amazon is offering discounts on HD DVD titles – some going for as low as US$ 14.95 – and the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player, which is going for US$ 119.99. Deals ahoy! Amazon is currently offering price cuts on the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player as well as a bunch of HD DVD titles. HD DVD movies are going for half off, some going for as low as US$ 14.95. The Xbox 360 HD DVD Player is going for US$ 119.99.

Some of the titles Amazon is offering include Transformers (Special Edition, for US$ 19.95), the Complete First Season of Star Trek The Original Series (US$ 97.49), and even classics like Patch Adams (US$ 14.95).
