Japan's Xbox 360 gets Raiden Fighters Aces this 2008 - Image 1More retro-arcade gaming is making its way to the Microsoft Xbox 360…at least if you happen to live in Japan. Famitsu magazine has revealed that developer/publisher Success Corporation is making plans to release the Raiden Fighters Aces collection into the region by 2008.

As some may have guessed from the naming convention, Raiden Fighters Aces is a compilation of all three Raiden Fighter titles, themselves a spin-off from the Raiden games franchise.

The combo carries Raiden Fighters (1996), Raiden Fighters 2 (1997), and Raiden Fighters Jet (1998).

Raiden Fighters Aces is expected to come packaged with online support for scoreboards, and facilities for downloading/uploading game replay data. Lastly, the game is also reportedly coming with a DVD strategy guide, which includes replays of Japan’s top-tier players. No details have been mentioned regarding a release outside Japan.
