This seems like a great deal, although after reading through the Amazon reviews we realised that Amazon have messed up, and this card actually contains Microsoft points up to the value of 12 months Xbox Live Gold (2000 points), and not an actual subscription. Of course, you can subscribe to Xbox Live using the Microsoft points on this card, but you must have an Xbox Live subscription first in order to connect to Xbox Live and buy more  months’ subscription.

This is cheap for 12 months subscription, but only buy it if you already have an Xbox Live subscription. It’s ideal if your subscription only lasts for 1 more month or so as you can renew it with this card.
