Xbox 360 More Popular Than PS2?
Apparently, the Xbox 360 is more popular than every other console in the market, if April sales figures are anything to go by. This gaming console from Microsoft outsold other consoles – 295,000 Xbox 360s were sold, according to The NPD Group. Sony’s current-gen console, the PS2, sold 205,000 units.
If you think about it, even with the relatively bigger sales of the Xbox 360, it still has a way to go before it catches up to the PS2. I’m no Sony fangirl, but I find it amazing that even after other companies have released their consoles, the PS2’s still selling as well as it is.
Reports also state that software sales were better for the Xbox 360, with a ratio of 4:5; the top five selling games in April were also for Microsoft’s console.
