Xbox 360 released in Korea

Three months after the launch in North America, gamers across Korea today celebrated the launch of the Xbox 360 console in their country. Korea is the first in the Asian market, besides Japan, to see the launch of the Xbox 360. Available with the release of the console are 11 games, including “Call of Duty 2”, “Fifa 06”, and “Quake 4”. Microsoft Korea promises fifty more games to hit the market by June, with games like “Dead or Alive 4” and “Battlefield 2” in March, and 100 titles by the end of the year.
