Xbox 720 gets official codename: “Zephyr 360”?
So whatever happened to the rumored “Xbox 720“? Thanks to a tip off from keithkk16, we’ve got whiff of a follow up. Aside from the codename of Microsoft‘s next-Next-gen console, lots of other rumors have rushed up about its features and added functionality.
For one thing, people have already speculated about its 65nm processor. But haven’t you ever wondered why they left out the HDMI cable for the 360? Signs point towards the possibility that that feature is queued up for the next Xbox 360. CodenamedZephyr 360 – which follows the original “Xenon” codename of the Xbox 360 – the second version of the Xbox is assumed to boast some 1080p eye candy and 120GB drive.
Whispers, whispers. We don’t even know how much the Zephyr will sell for or if the supposed 120GB drive would be bundled with the system.
