Xbox Big Day Out 2007 announced

In case you aren’t aware, there’s this annual event called Xbox Big Day Out. It’s a freestyle ski and snowboard competition that started around ten years ago. The event got bigger and better, and needless to say, the one scheduled for 2007 could be the best one ever.

This year’s festivity will take place in Val dÂ’Isère, France and will see top caliber riders like Mathieu Crepel, Markku Koski, and Hampus Mosesson slugging it all out on the slopes to be the event champion. More importantly, the event organizers are planning to set a new world record for the biggest hip jump in the Alps which is otherwise known as “Le Monster”.

If you’re a big ski and snowboarding fan but can’t make it to France, be informed that you can still join in the fun via Xbox Live. All the riders and even the guest DJs (David Guetta, Scratch Perverts, and Fabio and Grooverider) will be available online to chat and play games in their Game With Fame Sessions. The Xbox Live activities will coincide with the following schedule:

• Monday 26th February – Qualifying Stages
• Tuesday 27th February – Qualifying Stages
• Wednesday 28th February – World Record Session
• Thursday 1st March – Grand Final
