Xbox Live Activity For Week Of 9/4 – Saint’s Row A Winner
Major Nelson has released Xbox Live statistics for the week of 9/4, and while he isn’t able to go into further detail on a per-title basis, he put together some charts showing which titles gamers have played the most this week while connected to Xbox Live.
Suffice to say, Saint’s Row managed to grab the top spot, just before Madden NFL 07, which still remains strong after breaking the Xbox Live record earlier for hosting more than 2 million hours of online play since it’s release on August 22. In the third place comes veteran Call Of Duty 2, as players ready themselves for the third entry in the FPS series to hit their Xbox 360s soon.
In the “Original Xbox Games” chart, Halo 2 still dominates, and will probably continue to do so until the long-awaited Halo 3 picks up the crown as what we assume will be the most popular Xbox 360 title for the next twenty years. On the Xbox Live Arcade side of things, Texas Hold ‘Em rose to the #1 rather quickly, closely chased by Time Pilot and Street Fighter II.
With so many great Xbox 360 games coming out in Fall and beyond, the charts will no doubt be turned upside down again, and Major Nelson will be there to tell you about it. If you want to check out this week’s full charts, visit his blog below.
