Xbox Live Arcade challenge still open for latecomers

This serves, more than anything, as a reminder for all of you guys. At the start of this month, we gave you a heads up about the competition Xbox Live Arcade Challenge. It involves games Small Arms and Lumines Live. It then came to our attention that today, December 22, is the last day of registration.

We’re doing this because the competition is quite lucrative. The grand prize, in case you didn’t know is a Hitachi UltraVision 42-inch Plasma HDTV. There will be separate winners for both games, so that means they will be giving away two HDTV sets! Aside from that, other prizes include a Holiday Challenge Prize Pack (HD DVD Player bundle, Wireless Wheel and Wireless Headset) and 500 Microsoft Points Tokens to be redeemed for Xbox Live imagery.

The Lumines Live challenge actually began last December 17 and will end just before Christmas on December 24. On the other hand, the competition for Small Arms will start on December 24 and end on the 30th.
