Xbox Live Arcade: TiQal and Switchball coming on Wednesday
Heads up, XBL Arcade gamers! Two games are going live for the Xbox 360 this coming Wednesday. First up is TiQal, a new block-busting game from Slapdash Games, and Switchball, which will be re-released with a free update. Details on both games in the full article.
Two casual games are coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday: TiQal, a new game from Slapdash games, and a re-release of Switchball, which originally went live last year.
TiQal follows a long standing tradition of games that match blocks of the same color. The game reminds us a little of Super Collapse with a Zuma kind of flavor.
In TiQal, you’ll have to save a Mayan village by demolishing enemy block walls. You do this by matching squares of the same color. The game has more than a hundred levels, 14 power-ups, and supports up to two players.
In Switchball, you take control of a property-changing ball. By changing the physical property of the ball (from metal to air, that kind of stuff), you’ll be able to clear puzzles. The re-release includes a free update that delivers enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay.
