XBox Live Brings 24M Downloads Home

XboxXbox Live surpassed 24 million downloads during E3 week following the launch of Xbox 360 on November 22, 2005. E3: Bringing It Home, lured 1.5 million Xbox 360 gamers to jump in to Xbox Live with free Gold membership during E3 and a broadband hookup—high-speed DSL and FiOS, the super-fast Fiber Optic connection from Verizon.

Gamers managed to download 5 million pieces of gaming and entertainment that amounted to 600 Terabytes of data.

“The sheer volume of downloads during E3 week was simply staggering.
