If you’re looking for Microsoft‘s Xbox Originals service but can’t find it, don’t worry. It’s just been renamed to Games on Demand. It’s not just a simple act of renaming the service too, as Microsoft will soon be adding Xbox 360 games for download.

The new service will initially offer around 30 older Xbox 360 games. These games, which include titles like Mass Effect, BioShockCrackdown, and Oblivion, will start rolling out in August. New games will also be added regularly.

Prices will reportedly be in line with retail copies, which is kinda bunk if you ask me since there are no disc production costs and whatnot to pad the price tag. At least gamers don’t need to buy MS Points to make their purchases as credit card transactions will be supported in the new service.
