XNA Presentations at Seattle Code Camp

ms-xnaIt's always great to learn something new about stuff for it gives you that edge and makes you a standout among the collective. Now, if you haven't heard of Microsoft's XNA Studio Express, then we think it's best that you get initiated with it by reading our previous reports. Now, if you have some knowledge of it and would like to know more about it, then this piece of news is for you.

This coming October 28-29, there would be an XNA Presentations at the Seattle Code Camp v2.0 and that session is divided into four sections. Beginners and aficionados would enjoy the session simply dubbed as "Making an XNA Game for the Xbox 360" to be conducted by Charles Cox. Basically it will talk of how to use the provided tools in the XNA Game Studio Express including the XNA Framework and Content Pipeline. Hopefully, you'll be able to create a simple game for the Xbox 360 and when that happens, feel free to share it with us.

The other three sessions are targeted for those who already have a considerable amount of programming and XNA knowledge. These three are the "Exploring the XNA Framework" to be facilitated by Mitch Walker; "Introduction to the Programmable Pipeline in XNA" to be taken care of by Rick Hoskinson; and "XNA Balls" with Jason Mauer speaking about it.

Interested? It's a good thing that you could go for free, but space is limited so you need to register. It will be held at DeVry University in Federal Way.
